BUN is a character and NPC in OMORI. She is one of the many residents of the FOREST PLAYGROUND, often seen watching her friend NOSE play on the slide.

APPEARANCE[]
BUN is a small white creature with pinkish-red hair tied into a large bun and rosy cheeks. She appears to be wearing a shot pink dress and possesses short limbs like majority of the playground's residents, excluding a few such as VAN or SHARLEEN.
PERSONALLY[]
In contrast to NOSE's withdrawn disposition, BUN is shown to be cheerful and friendly towards others. She often appears to look after NOSE's well-being, often doing things together and occasionally worries about her when separated. NOSE, in return, seems to genuinely care about BUN, to the point of the two being an inseparable duo due to their close bond.
STORY[]
PROLOGUE - THREE DAYS LEFT[]
BUN is first encountered at VAST FOREST's playground, happily watching NOSE play on the slide. When spoken to from there, BUN informs the group about NOSE's hidden depths, revealing that the latter is actually smart despite her non-talktative behavior. She later joins the group's game of hide-and-seek, courtesy of BERLY gathering most of the residents to play the game.
During the segment, BUN attempts to hide behind the slide with NOSE. Unfortunately, NOSE being a little too loud made it easy for OMORI and his friends to find them. Despite being caught, BUN chooses not to be mad at NOSE, instead playing a game of patty cake while the group finds the other remaining participants. She also witnesses the group fighting the local bully BOSS as the latter tries forcing them out of the playground while taking BASIL as his hostage.
Shortly after the brief scuffle, BUN resumes watching NOSE play on the slide and will repeat the same dialogue if spoken to again. This also applies to her appearance on the following day, where she continues looking after NOSE's well-being.
TWO DAYS LEFT[]
Upon returning to HEADSPACE, OMORI discovers that all of his friends from the playground have gone missing, apparently being tricked into signing CONTRACTS given by MR. JAWSUM to work at the LAST RESORT.
BUN can be found on the third floor of the casino alongside BARBRACOA. She is shown pacing back and forth, exasperated at how the patrons constantly make a mess. She notes that having a job is tough and wonders if NOSE is doing alright without her.
ONE DAY LEFT[]
After saving BASIL within BLACK SPACE and resetting HEADSPACE back to its original state on the OMORI ROUTE, the group can return to the LAST RESORT once again.
From there, BUN remains at the third floor when first returning there. When speaking to MR. JAWSUM for the last time, he decides to retire and instead gives ownership of the casino to HERO. This will result in most of the casino's workers and visitors leaving the place.
BUN and the other playground residents soon return to their place at the VAST FOREST. She can be seen watching NOSE going up and down the slide as usual. When spoken to, BUN happily tells NOSE that she missed her, wondering if the latter felt the same way. Interacting with her again will prompt the same text she mentioned before.

- BUN's depiction in HEADSPACE is based on one of SUNNY's old stuffed animals alongside NOSE, BANGS, BROWS, and HAPPY. It is unknown if SUNNY still kept these stuffed animals in the present day.
