JOCK JAMS, abbreviated as JJ, is a character and NPC in OMORI. He appears within the OTHERWORLD OUTSKIRTS, located east of the OTHERWORLD CAMPSITE.

APPEARANCE[]
JOCK JAMS is a tall figure with a light-colored body and big pink lips. His head resembles a long-shaped pot with two ears sticking out on both sides. He also has long strands of green hair sticking out of his head. His outfit consists of a green jersey with white stripes. JOCK JAMs also wears pink pants and black shoes.
PERSONALITY[]
JOCK JAMS is shown to be an enthusiastic individual whenever his favorite song plays on his boombox. He appears to love dancing around rapidly without any care in the world. However, if the party turns off his boombox, he will remain silent.
STORY[]
JOCK JAMS is shown dancing inside a tent located in OTHERWORLD OUTSKIRTS, right next to DUCKIE JR and a few other minor NPCs.
If the player interacts with the boombox, it will play a song that causes JOCK JAMS to dance faster. This will also allow the player to view his only single line of dialogue.
However, if the player turns the boombox off, JOCK JAMS will stop dancing and resume his idle pose. Other than that, there is nothing else to do but leave JOCK JAMS in his tent.
TRIVIA[]
- In the game's files, there exists a set of unused sprites for JOCK JAMS, in which he can be seen standing up straight and walking without constantly dancing around the place. It is unknown why they aren't used anywhere in the final release.
- In the 2018 Kickstarter demo, JOCK JAMS originally resided at the SPROUT MOLE COLONY inside his tent.
- The song that plays when interacting with the boombox can also be found in OTHERWORLD's entrance to its CLUB SANDWICH (only if the group decides to moonwalk).
- It is also featured as one of the four songs played from KEL's boombox within his room.
